Biography
Dr Min Hong’s research focuses on thermoelectric technology, including semiconductor thermoelectric materials, organic/inorganic flexible thermoelectrics, physical/chemical principles of transport properties, and thermoelectric devices for refrigeration and power generation. In 2016, he obtained his PhD degree from the University of Queensland. With extra four-year postdoctoral training, he is experienced in SEM/TEM characterizations, MATLAB modelling, first-principle calculations, and finite element analysis simulations. As the leading author, he has secured publications in Joule, Energy & Environmental Science, Advanced Materials, Advanced Energy Materials, Journal of the American Chemical Society, Accounts of Chemical Research, etc. He has also obtained funding of ARC DECRA and Discovery Project as the chief investigator (CI), as well as participating in an ARC Research Hub as a node CI.
